High Line Car House Wedding / Ellen & Kyle

January 6th, 2022

Ellen and Kyle’s wedding at High Line Car House was one of our COVID reschedules in 2020, that finally came to fruition in the summer of 2021. We actually rescheduled twice – a full year the first time, but then we pushed it UP because of a surprise bundle of joy was on the way! Ellen and Kyle got married on their original date in 2020, and we were planning a vow renewal and celebration with their friends and family.

We did Ellen’s sister’s wedding a few years before, but Michelle was the lead planner then, so I had the pleasure of getting to know the family this time! They are the sweetest group of people, full of kindness and love. Kyle stepped up in a way that I haven’t seen from a groom before – he dove right into our CRM and worked with me on the layout, RSVP’s, seating chart, and more. We navigated family dynamics together, and made sure Ellen was as stress-free as possible those last months.

I really loved their color story, and the unique florals and design elements Ellen was up for! The bridesmaids dresses were amazing – even a year later (and the pictures don’t do them justice)! I couldn’t have been more excited for these two and love the way it all turned out!
