Glamorous Farm Wedding // Katie & Matt

I first sat down with Katie and Matt at the spring Jorgensen Farms wedding open house - they were in town that weekend from Miami to do some wedding planning, so we met where all the magic would happen. As Matt mentioned in his wedding toast, you can’t help but be drawn to Katie when she gives you that big smile of her’s! She’s such a sweetheart, so bubbly and kind while he’s funny and outgoing - I knew I’d love them immediately! It wasn’t long before we realized that I lived in the same house Katie did on 13th Avenue on Ohio State’s campus just one year after her - I literally “bought” the house from her! Then we realized we had a few mutual friends, and the deal was sealed.

Katie and Matt had grand plans - they wanted to do everything themselves (she has a great style and he’s actually an interior designer) and they wanted every detail to be perfect for their glamorous farm wedding. Their plans were ambitious with a field wedding that would be transformed into the dinner space, followed by dancing inside the Jorgensen Farms old barn for 300+ guests.

We were up for the challenge, and couldn’t have asked for a better team of vendors to pull off this farm-meets-Miami wedding. Amanda Julca delivered some amazing photos…
