Fall Wedding at Rocky Fork Hunt & Country Club

Clara and Slater’s weekend continued with their fall wedding at Rocky Fork Hunt & Country Club. Since the couple wanted the day to feel natural, organic and intentional, Rocky Fork was the perfect place to bring their vision to life. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to work with this couple and their families on such an important weekend. Their love and admiration for each other and the people they surround themselves with is evident in the beautiful photos captured by Kismet Visuals.
Getting Ready and Details
The ladies started out at Clara’s childhood home with yoga, hair and makeup, as well as a beautiful spread of light food to get them set for the day. Slater and the groomsmen spent their morning at Rocky Fork playing paddle tennis while they prepped for the big day ahead. The invitations were created by The Paper Betty – all hand drawn images of the grounds that are just stunning on the invitation suite in addition to being utilized in the stationery throughout the day.

Ceremony
The ceremony took place on the lower grounds of Rocky Fork and guests were greeted with refreshments as well as the most adorable welcome booklet that included the schedule of events, ceremony detail and a map of where each portion of the day would take place. Guests were able to view the entire grounds in addition to being able to view the bride as she walked down the stairs to be married. The ceremony officiant was a friend of the couple (and a bridesmaid), so the ceremony was full of personal touches and absolutely unique to Clara and Slater. It was simple perfection.

These two have really close friends that they call family (in addition to some really great family members too) that made up their bridal party. Slater wore a custom deep weathered purple suit since its Clara’s favorite color (I know – adorable!). The ladies were sophisticated and fun in hunter green dresses that complimented the tan suits on the groomsmen. I can’t get enough of these shots of the couple around Rocky Fork.
Reception
Now to the fun part! Cocktail hour was also on the lower grounds, but off to the side of the ceremony where guests could play bocce ball, hang out in a lounge area or just mingle in the beautiful weather.

Oh, that tent. We worked hard to bring the couple’s visions to life with the perfect linen, table setting and overall design that felt inviting and organic, but also elevated. We went back to the design board several times alongside Brian at Bluhen. Finally we landed on what turned out to be the most beautiful tented dinner you could ask for.

Then after dinner, guests followed the saxophonist up the lit path to the Rocky Fork clubhouse and terrace where The Conspiracy Band waited to get the party started. And, party they did. Some amazingly choreographed first dances started the night, but soon everyone was on the dance floor!
